Mission: by learning with Indian team – first and foremost Jyoti’s women –
by producing clothing and accessories – in a fair manner.
At Jyoti primarily focus on the people who have produced them. Thus we regard ourselves as a social enterprise empowering women
through the production of fair fashion.
Jyoti is committed to assisting socially disadvantaged women in India by enabling
them to lead a self-determined life. In a first step, the company offers them a
training in sewing, a fair wage and a permanent and secure position in our
company.
Together they design products such as clothing and accessories out of recycled,
ecologically, and equitably produced materials. The earnings enable the funding
of literacy and education programs with emphasis on labor and women’s rights,
as well as the provision of health insurance. The creation of this
sustainable cycle enables Jyoti to reach out to even more women.
