Mission:
Hundebande is a special social enterprise: it combines the reintegration of prisoners and
the training of blind detection dogs. During nine months, female prisoners
share their prison cell with the puppies and they are 24 hours a day in charge to educate, take care of and train the dogs. The pilot phase has been already carried out and completed successfully. Now a sustainable business model is developed, so Hundebande can be further sustainable in Hamburg.
