Mission:
LEINO Dementia Competence aims to create greater understanding and disseminating knowledge about dementia. The work is done through lectures to both health care workers and family members of people with dementia. LEINO also arranges trips for relatives with opportunities for recreation, education and counseling. In 2013, the founder Marita Leino also started a non-profit training in dementia knowledge at a vocational school for young women in southern Senegal .
